To my greatest chagrin, the news of your passing broke the airwaves.

Rev. Fr. Chikani, affectionately known as Okoman, was a principal who left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students, including mine. His unwavering commitment to discipline, excellence, and character development transformed lives, shaping individuals who would go on to make a positive impact in society.

As I reflect on his influence, I am reminded of the countless ways he touched my life. From instilling in me a sense of purpose and responsibility to teaching me the value of hard work and determination, Father Chikani's impact extends far beyond the classroom walls. His unrelenting passion for education and his students' well-being inspired me to strive for greatness, and I am forever grateful.

One particular incident that stands out in my mind was when he stopped our school bus on Enugu road, picked us up, and brought us to school for manual labor. Though it wasn't funny at the time, it was a defining moment that taught me the importance of punctuality, responsibility, and accountability.

Father Chikani's leadership was characterized by his unique approach to discipline and mentorship. He led by example, often disguising himself as a student to ensure that his students adhered to the school's rules and regulations. His dedication to his students' growth and development was evident in every aspect of school life.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable individual, we take comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. His impact on our society is immeasurable, and we are all better individuals because of his tireless efforts.
