Rev. Fr. Dr. Johnmartins Chikani is a big name.
He is a man that lived by example. It's not about words but action. What he tells you to do, you see him doing on daily.
A man that comfortably dress in sparkling white all the time, so when he tells you that your clothes need to sparkling, you can see with example.
He taught us hard work and always let us know that 'The sky is our starting point'
He ensured we learnt what it means to be early. This I appreciate always in my life because up till date, I keep to time to my engagements
People admire me for that but it has a story and Johnmartin is at the beginning of that story.
Chikani raised quality men. I believe his soul is in heaven because there's no other place it could be.
RIP padre
Fr. Johnmartins Chikani was more than a principal—he was a mentor, a guide, and a father figure. He instilled in us discipline, resilience, love for excellence, and the value of hard work. At the time, his standards felt tough, but looking back, we see how they shaped the people we have become. His lessons live on in our choices, our values, and our successes. Thank you for dedicating your life to molding ours. Rest well, OKOMAN
Rest in peace to the man that sharped , mould and trained me to who I am today,
IT IS NIGHTER YOU ARE OR YOU ARE NOT

Rev, fr, Dr Johnmartins Chukwuemeka Chikani. Popularly known as Okoman was a friend, father, great teacher, legend or an icon I would never forget in a hurry, we will continue to miss and also have him in our hearts .
I always consider myself lucky and privileged to have been formed by you. You have raised sound men and your boys are doing well. Rest in peace, Okoman
Okoman was not just a school Principal to all of us. He was a father figure and believed no matter how damaged we might be, through discipline and hardwork the sky won't be our boundary but our starting point. In the midst of all harsh disciplinary actions given to us, we were always proud of Okoman and being a student of STC nsukka. Your legacy lives and may your gentle soul rest in peace Sir
What a Life.. Two most important people who supported me genuinely in my dangerous early life gone. First was my Dad now is Okoman.
Life is indeed a mystery.
RIP Paa Okoman.
Legends have gone, but today we have lost the leader of legends. From the very first day I heard about you, my life got shaped into something worth more than I have ever imagined. But this piece is not about me. Who am I among those who looked up to you and called you father? You were not just a Principal; you were a Principal of Principals, despite your constant reminding us of the fact that God is the Principal while you were only a headmaster. You were not just a Reverend Father; you were an example to Reverend Fathers. You built great men of valor; you built great leaders of today, tomorrow, and many years to come. Your sense of judgment, unbiased nature, and strict enforcement of rules and regulations no matter whose ox was gored set you apart. For many years we sang of your name, love, and role in our lives. Today we have lost you while heaven has gained you, but we will not cry; You told us a day like this will come, and when it does, we must not cry because men don't cry. We stand together and say that we are still present, ready, and willing to serve. We believe and uphold that God is the Principal of St. Teresa's College. And by extension, we believe and uphold that you are with God. I, Pharm Ignatius Izu Ugwuona, having been washed, filtered, and trained by Rev. Fr. John Martins Chukwuemeka Chikani, promise to do my best in the discharge of my functions credibly and to the best of my ability. I am very prepared to uphold the honors and ideals inculcated in me through John Martins at Saint Teresa's College, Nsukka, and defend the cause of high discipline based on a thorough understanding and fear of God. May God help me to keep my promise. Rest in the Lord, Okoman. We loved you, John. We still love you, John, and we will continue to love you, John.
I had the opportunity to work with you Padre for 5 years as a Mass server and I would say that was the best moments of my entire life. I miss you Father, and I have always been proud of you. Rest In Peace
